This week's posts will be from the Cayman Islands Equestrian Federation and Caribbean Equestrian Association (“CEA”) Junior Jumping Competition held on 27 June 2009. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to shoot at this event. Unfortunately, I broke my collarbone a few hours after I attended and had not found the time to process the photos...until now :-). As an aside, I have been blogging about my experience regarding my broken collarbone and invite anyone who might be interested to read my blog.
For this photo of Ms. Ashley Scaletta, Cayman's 14 and under rider, I was standing essentially in the middle of the course with the next jump just to the right of me. Ms. Scaletta had an absolute superb competition with the best score in the 14 and under category with only 5 faults. A a matter of fact, it was the lowest of all the riders in the competition!
