I am excited to advise that I have started a Photo Blog at
http://www.richardhamiltonphotography.com where I have been posting a photo a day from around the world of nature, people (with an emphasis on my studio fashion work), animals (Big, small, wild and domesticated) and places (from Canada, to India, to Europe, to the Cayman Islands).
I started taking photos some 30 plus years. Wow, that's a long time, especially when I think back and remember shooting with black and white film and developing my photos in a darkroom.
There was a long period of time where I did not shoot as I had grown frustrated with film. However, the digital era (which started in 2002 with a G2) revitalized my photography. I now carry the Canon 5D Mark II and shoot mainly with primes (24L, 85L, 135L, 200L, 400L) with my favorite topics being people (with an emphasis on fashion photography) and wildlife.
Please also feel free to check out my blog at
http://www.blog.itslife.ca which has a little bit of everything for those interested in:
* Life as an expat - I am a Canadian living and working in the Cayman Islands (I know, it’s rough but someone has to do it :-)). Having recently broken my collarbone, I am currently writing about the health services in Cayman.
* Photography - Photography is a long time hobby of mine and you will find a number of stories and photos. I have recently started a Photo Blog at http://www.richardhamiltonphotography.com where I am posting a photo a day on everything from Fashion, Wedding, Travel, People and Animals.
* Computers. This is another hobby of mine. Have you ever noticed how computers and photography in the digital age are becoming one? You will also find a list of my favorite freeware programs and fixes to some issues that I had with the hope that it will help someone else.
* Rants. What would a blog be with the odd rant (not that the rant will be odd, OK maybe some will think so, but I was thinking more along the lines of infrequent :-))
Thank you for stopping by.
Kind regards,
Richard
